momoco bear [Teppei Ono / Gold-under-glaze Dots, Pale Yellow] with mini bear

This is a work by the author Tetsuhei Ono. This work uses the technique of ``glaze gold color''. Gold color is often painted on top of glaze (glass surface) as an "overglaze". As the name suggests, glaze ura kinsai involves applying glaze over gold leaf. This technique is said to prevent the gold leaf from discoloring and allows you to enjoy its original beauty. It is a technique that requires fewer hands as it involves many steps and requires being put into the kiln many times. Also, based on Mr. Ono's idea, if you are looking for this work, We will also deliver a mini-sized momoco bear made by hand. *The 5th image shows how it looks side by side with works of different colors. ■Teppei Ono- The bold expressions made using traditional techniques using gold leaf are attractive.
