momoco bird [Zuicho Ko-Imari]

“momoco” — porcelain figures in Arita ware. They express the craftsmanship of Arita ware, handed down for more than 400 years, and an endless pursuit of beauty, in special collaborations with Arita's finest makers. The little bird, a messenger of good news, stands for happiness and peace. Birds living in pairs symbolise a happy marriage, and their flight makes them a popular gift for new beginnings. Shaped after a plump, lovable fledgling about to leave the nest. <Zuicho Ko-Imari> A design full of zuicho, birds that bring good omens, layered with lucky patterns such as nandina and seigaiha waves, in the rich colours of the Ko-Imari style. Delivered in a dedicated box. For large orders for gifts or campaigns, please contact BloomSource.
