Goku-Nishiki Gold Ko-Imari Style [Octagonal Serving Plate, Small] in wooden box

One of the characteristic techniques of Ko-Imari during the Edo period, which was loved by European aristocrats, is ``Somenishiki'', which is a dyed cloth with overlays of red, green, gold, etc. The splendid design, with its indigo flower pattern, chrysanthemums and peonies in bright red, and the gorgeous gold surrounding it, is a representative of the Old Imari style, worthy of being called ``Gokunishiki.'' It will give your dining table a brighter look at celebratory occasions, and a chic look for everyday dinners. *The 6th to 8th images are posted as a reference for table coordination and size. ■ What is the inscription "Made in the Showa era of Hibi Kisen"?
