Kiku-wari [Serving Plate] (Purple)

Varianten: Purple

Blue GreyPurple

Chrysanthemums, along with plums, orchids, and bamboo, are called the "Four Gentlemen" in China, and have long been a symbol of nobility. This image has also been transmitted to Japan, where it is often used as a subject for tableware. One such example is ``Kikwari,'' which is made by folding beautiful magnetic skin into a shape similar to chrysanthemum petals. The extremely simple and precise modeling is still fresh even after many years. *Images 7 and 8 are shown for reference when arranging different colors. *Due to the nature of the glaze, there may be unevenness on the back of the colored plate. We hope that you understand this as a characteristic of the vessel.
