Rinpa Ko-Imari Style [Wine Cup, Small] in wooden box

During the Edo period, Arita potters incorporated various stylistic aesthetics unique to Japan. One of these is the style of Rinpa art, perfected by Korin Ogata. He depicts familiar subjects such as garden trees and flowers in bold compositions and colors, and expresses this feature in Arita ware through the generous use of gold. This pattern is a reproduction of a design representative of the Old Imari style. With large chrysanthemums in full bloom against the indigo background, garden trees peeking out from the window paintings, and a harmonious combination of white porcelain, colored illustrations, and gold, this is a luxurious piece of Arita ware. Double winner of Grand Prix and Gold Prize in the "Attractive Japanese Souvenir Contest 2010" sponsored by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Tourism Agency. *The 6th image shows the different sizes side by side. *Delivered in a wooden box. We have wooden boxes containing 1 piece, 2 pieces in pairs, and 6 pieces. For large orders for gifts or campaigns, please contact BloomSource.
